Floral Pink Palm Kantha Throw

The Powell Craft range of throws uses the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh. Our throws are 100% printed cotton with a self—coloured backing and are embellished with lines of running stitches. A standard blanket double, they are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room.

This beautiful print in delicate colours is inspired by vintage tropical textiles. Fronds of pale green leaves frame palm trees and exotic flowers in pink and grey against the white background. The throw is edged with a pretty patterned border in complimentary colours.
